All of these elements brought me to have found SONKISD HOME DESIGN back in 2016. Since then creating a blog has been in the back of my mind and now I've finally made that dream a reality. My design style tends to lean classic + modern but overall light + airy. I love mixing in old with the new to create a well curated space that truly defines your own personal style!

I'm a wife & mother of 3 based out of TN. My husband and I have been married 18 years. We purchased our last home almost 5 years ago and that is when I become so intrigued with all things design. On a budget, we've managed to transform our home from builder grade to a more custom design that we take much pride in. Recently we bought a 1986 colonial that we've slowly been transforming one space at a time and bringing it up to date. I would love nothing more than to share everything I've learned with you and help you design a space you're proud to come home to too!
